LOACC: Safeguard from sex trafficking
Sex trafficking is an unseen evil permeating our culture. Want to make a difference? Learn about how our youth are lured and taken, social media safety, how we can raise our family's awareness and increase their safety, and who to call if we notice an issue. Learn a few simple self-defense techniques to teach youth, and a few statistics that will blow your mind! The presentation, by Karen Meininger, includes a 20-minute video. For more information or to register for a discussion, call the ACC at 503-635-3758. 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m., May 13, free.
