Filled with booths offering food, beer and beverages, plant sales, and children's activities, the Lake Run Festival is set to kickoff summer community events in Lake Oswego. Not just for runners and walkers, the festival is open for all people!

"It's been two years since we've done it so we're crossing our fingers people will come back. We are excited to bring the community together again," Kristin Barber, Director of Philanthropy & Resource Development at Northwest Housing Alternatives said. "It will be wonderful to celebrate all the Lake Oswego Lake Run participants, especially the kids running in the dash. The festival is a great opportunity for people to reconnect, enjoy the beautiful scenery by the lake, walk through all the different booths, and join in on the activities."

Moved to June to take advantage of better weather, the festival will have a DJ to play music and emcee events including the awards ceremony for Lake Run participants. The festival will take place after the race.

2022 marks the 46th year of the Lake Oswego Lake Run and has welcomed thousands of runners to Lake Oswego for decades. This year's run will be held in person and virtual. If you sign up for the in person run, race timing team EnMotive will time your run with a chipped bib. If you sign up for the virtual run, you will be in charge of timing your own race with your phone, watch, or other device and then uploading it into the site to compare your results with others.
