FOOD FOR FINES
In honor of National Library Week, the Molalla Public Library is having a Food for Fines event from April 8 to April 14. Each non-perishable, unexpired item brought in is worth $1 off fines.
The Beavercreek Lions club will hold its annual auction, at the 10 O'Clock Church in Beavercreek on Saturday, April 14. The plant sale and country store open at 9 a.m. Oral auction gets underway at 10 a.m. There will be a raffle for a 40-inch television. Proceeds go to support the projects of the Beavercreek Lions Club.The church is at 23345 S. Beavercreek Road. Admission is free.
It's time for the fifth annual Spring Fling Craft Bazaar and Plant Sale at the Molalla Adult Community Center on April 14 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Customers can purchase food, baked goods, fashion, art, plants and more. There will also be raffles. Admission is free and various meal options will be available for lunch for $6. Tickets are available at the center. For more information, call 503-829-4214.
MAHS BUSINESS MEETING
The Molalla Area Historical Society will have a business meeting Saturday, April 14 at noon in Ivor Davies Hall. The meeting is open to the public; anyone interested in helping to preserve the history of the Molalla area is encourage to attend. This year's Record Bonanza will be held Sunday, April 15, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is $3 and the parking is free.
Musical memories that come from all over the spectrum. Record Bonanza offers more than 100 years of musical memorabilia, with plenty of 45s, 33s and 78s for those who simply miss the feel and smell of a good vinyl record. There are also posters, books, sheet music, photos and memorabilia of all types.
