Colton's competitive TAG team needs help to get to Knoxville, Tennessee in May

GRAPHIC ILLUSTRATION - The Colton Elementary and Middle School Talented and Gifted team is raising funds to attend the global competition in May.There are still ways to help the Colton Elementary and Middle School Talented and Gifted (TAG) team earn the funds to get them to the University of Tennessee in Knoxville for the Global competition in May.

Local restaurants are helping out. Dine at El Charrito, 117 East Main Street on Wednesday, April 25 from 4-10 p.m. and 20 percent of sales will go to the cause.

Stop by PIPS, 1585 West Main Street, on Friday, April 27, between 5-8 p.m. and 20 percent of all sales will go to the TAG team.

Chelsea's Hot Dog Cart will be set up in front of Coltontel on Sunday, April 29. They will be offering beef hot dogs, chips, soda and homemade chocolate chip cookies. They will also be taking donations of cans and bottles and a raffle is still to come.
