Colton Corner: New owners in the coffee stand window
Within the last couple weeks, Danna and Jeremy Pierce purchased the Colton Coffee Company from Vivian and Jacob Godair. The Godair family is moving to Oklahoma for a new job opportunity and as Vivian says, for new adventures.
"When I heard the coffee stand was up for sale, I though why not?" Danna said. "It is something new for me and the family and it is in our community."
The couple has five children, two in elementary school, two in middle school and one in high school. They have lived in Colton for two years and "love it here." Before moving to Colton they lived in the Mulino/Molalla area.
Danna is the new barista and says she has met a lot of amazing people and is busy learning names and everybody's "usual."
The family is very involved in sports; Jeremy coaches and is president of Colton Youth Sports. Danna says they will be supporting local activities and want the coffee stand to continue to be an important part of Colton.
And in case you are wondering, they will be honoring the "punch cards." For now the hours will continue to be 5:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., but they might extend hours in the future. Besides your favorite coffee or tea, the Colton Coffee Company also serves breakfast sandwiches, muffins and bagels.
