On Monday and Tuesday, May 21-22, crews will continue preparation along the highway during the day, so travelers should expect to see crews and experience minor delays, according to ODOT.

During nighttime paving, drivers can expect delays and flaggers directing traffic under the following schedule:

  • Sunday through Thursday nights from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following mornings
  • Friday nights from 8 p.m. until 9 a.m. Saturdays
  • Saturday nights from 8 p.m. until 10 a.m. Sundays
  • Travelers should also expect daytime lane closures with flaggers directing traffic on Union Mills from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays. ODOT says to expect up to 20-minute delays.

As for highway repairs at the landslide area near South Eldorado Road, no construction activities are currently taking place. Pavement repair will likely take place later this year, according to ODOT.

For both projects, ODOT recommends as the best resource for checking traffic conditions.
