Council members set to discuss/take action on the 2018-19 fiscal year budget

Molalla's city councilors will meet on Wednesday, June 13 to discuss and/or take action on the 2018-19 fiscal year budget with a public meeting. After hearing from the public and discussing questions and actions, members will adopt a resolution for the upcoming fiscal year beginning July 1.

The council also will discuss and/or adopt two ordinances and several resolutions. First to be discussed is an ordinance to repeal one that created a street management system, while a second amends the city's security and alarms ordinance.

Resolution 2018-16 declares the city's election to receive state revenue sharing while Resolution 2018-07 certifies all requirements to receive state revenue sharing have been met. Resolution 2018-08 will repeal the 2018-01 street maintenance fee among others.

Under new business, councilors will discuss or act on biosolids dewatering and hauling award. They also will discuss and/or take action regarding an SRO contract agreement and to reestablish the arts commission.

The meeting begins at 7 p.m. at the Molalla Adult Community Center, 315 Kennel Ave.
