STORYTIME IN THE PARK

Molalla Church of the Nazarene invites the community to Storytime in the Park every Tuesday morning from June 19 through Aug. 28 from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at Fox Park. There will be a children's Bible story, Popsicles and a game or craft.

DANCING WITH NO SHOES ON

"Dancing with No Shoes On" with Chuck Cheesman is happening on Wednesday, June 20 at 10:30 a.m. at the Molalla Public Library. This will be energetic, interactive fun for the whole family.

OREGON ROCKS!

The Molalla Public Library is hosting Oregon Rocks!—a geology event put on by the University of Oregon—on Thursday, June 21 at 5-7 p.m. Dig into rocks, fossils, earthquakes and volcanoes through hands-on experiments and rockin' specimens, discovering the dynamic forces that have shaped Oregon's landscape over time.

CELEBRATE MOLALLA PLANNING

There will be a Celebrate Molalla planning meeting on Thursday, June 21 at 7 p.m. at Molalla Adult Community Center. The meeting is to plan a September Celebrate Molalla community event to include music, food, a kids craft tent, art show, vendors and more. Come with ideas to share.

BUCKEROO KICKOFF PARTY

The kickoff to the 95th Annual Molalla Buckeroo season is happening on Saturday, June 23 at 7:30 p.m. at the Buckeroo grounds. The kickoff will feature some of the best bulls and riders around, live music and (new this year) freestyle bullfighting. ART SUMMIT

The Clackamas County Arts Alliance will hold an arts and culture community forum on Thursday, June 24, from 4:15-6 p.m. at the former Main Street Coffee Shop, 215 E. Main St. in Molalla. This State of the Arts and Culture Conversation event has been hosted in towns all over Clackamas County and organizers point to it as a valuable tool for furthering arts and culture and sharing information and ideas in the respective communities. TRAIL RIDE

The Molalla Buckeroo Association's annual Trail Ride will be Sunday, June 24, form 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Take a ride through the Molalla countryside. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. and the first group departs from the Buckeroo grounds at 9:30 with staggered starts through 11 a.m. The ride is approximately three hours long and a watering hole is available about halfway through. This is a free event.
