Auditions for the fair's talent show will be held Tuesday, July 17 in the Main Pavilion

The Clackamas County Fair and Rodeo will once again hold tryouts for the Talent Show performances at the 2018 fair. Fair dates run Aug. 14 to 18 this year.

Talent show auditions will be held on Tuesday, July 17, at 5 p.m. in the Main Pavilion at the Fairgrounds.

Tryouts are open to all residents state-wide, but the top placing Clackamas County residents in each category will move on to the state competition.

The categories are divided into Child (ages 5-9), Youth (ages 10-17) and Adult (ages 18 and older) with cash prizes awarded for the top three places in the Youth and Adult categories, and cash prizes, placement certificates, and ribbons given for the Child category.

The Talent Show semifinals for Youth will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 14, at 7 p.m.; semifinals for Adults will be held on Thursday, Aug. 16, at 7 p.m.; and finals for all three age groups will be held on Saturday, Aug. 18, at 7 p.m. All the competitions will be held on the Grove Stage at the Clackamas County Fairgrounds.
