Chamber begins work on Molalla Halloween Celebration, looking for volunteers

Halloween will enter Molalla's downtown area on Oct. 31 from 4:30-7:30 p.m., thanks to the Chamber of Commerce. Plans have begun for Trick or Treating Downtown and some new things are being added.

Anyone who participates will go on a poster letting people know you will be there, and your name will be listed in the Pioneer as a participant. Those without store fronts close to downtown who would like to participate, let the Chamber know and they will help find a spot for you to set up and pass out treats. There likely will be about 1,000 kids.

This year, music will be playing by City Hall and there will be a playlist for those businesses passing out treats to use if they would like. To join the fun, contact Tara Clifford, Chamber office coordinator at 503-829-6941 or email her at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
