The Colton Aid Network is accepting food and monetary donations for annual Thanksgiving boxes

Colton Aid Network, a non-profit 501c(3), is accepting non-perishable foods as well as monetary donations for the annual Thanksgiving boxes given to those in the community who could use a little help stretching the budget during the holiday season.

Donations can be dropped off at either the Colton Fire Station, 20987 South Highway 211, or Cotlontel, 20983 South Highway 211, during business hours.

CAN could also use help at the Colton Fire Station on Friday, Nov. 8 starting at 4:30 p.m. to sort food and Saturday, Nov. 17 at 8 a.m. for packing and delivery.

CAN will begin accepting Christmas forms and donations immediately after the Thanksgiving baskets are distributed. Forms can be picked up at the fire department or telephone company.
