The public is invited to attend, and even submit artwork for, Molalla High School's 4th annual Art Showcase on Wednesday, May 15 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the school.
The free event will feature light snacks, painting workshops and a variety of artwork for viewing.
But before the day comes, consider creating something special for the showcase attendees to enjoy.
Anyone can enter work into the showcase. Art pieces can be turned into the main office at the high school by 3 p.m. on the day of the event. For community members who wish to enter work, include a project title, artist name and category.
The categories are: painting, drawing, photography, ceramics, metals, wood, graphic arts, MHS staff art, middle school art, elementary art and community art.
Prizes of 1st, 2nd and 3rd place will be awarded for each category. Plus, all work will be entered to win "Best in Show" and the "People's Choice Award."
