Colton Corner: It's auction time
The annual Colton Volunteer Firefighter Association breakfast and auction will be held at the fire department this Saturday, May 18.
Breakfast is served at 7 a.m. A garage sale starts at 8 a.m. The auctions begin at 10 a.m.
Besides the culinary cutlery knife forged and donated by Tony Fetters, there are some other really nice auction items including Beaver and Duck tickets and fun activities, wine and brew tasting and parties, hotel stays, parties, golf, a great Portland fun basket, a Colton basket with donations from local businesses, a chance to get the Colton fire engine at your child's birthday party—and so much more.
So food, garage sale, auction—don't miss it. According to Jasmine Schneider, event coordinator, the money raised will be used to buy any necessary equipment for the station as well as used to put on community events.
