Molalla Council to vote on city budget June 12
Molalla City Council members will meet on June 12 to vote to adopt the 2019-20 City and Urban renewal budgets. The meeting for both starts at 7 p.m. at the Molalla Adult Center.
Once the council votes on the Urban Renewal Agency's consent agenda, the five council members will vote on Resolution 2019-02 to adopt that agency's budget for fiscal year 2019-20 for making appropriations; and categorizing and levying taxes.
The City Council meeting directly follows the Urban Renewal meeting and also features voting on three resolutions: Resolution 2019-13 Molalla's city budget for fiscal year 2019-20 making appropriations and categorizing and levying ad valorem taxes. Resolution 2019-04 certifying all requirements to receive state shared revenues have been met. And, Resolution 2019-15 declaring the city's election to receive state revenue sharing.
Prior to the voting, Rick Clark from Oregon Impact will make a presentation to the Las Delicias Bakery, which presented a beautiful cake to the new The Main Shop for its grand opening. Also Mayor Keith Swigart and the staff will do something about a student liaison to the City Council.
