At November meeting, revitalized Colton Boosters vote to fund multiple activities

At their November meeting, members of the Colton Boosters voted to fund multiple activities around the school district.

On the list of approved items are Colton High School baseball/softball teams' request for $1,279.95 for updates and repairs to the ball field.

The CHS culinary arts program received $611.05 for new culinary tables, the mock trial team requested and received $350 to cover the entrance fee for Feb. 22, 2020 competition. The Colton school district media curriculum requested $250 to bring in author Kevin Frank to speak with students and are using $2,980 to bring educational comedian, Keith Deltano to present his anti-bullying campaign to the three CSD schools, along with an evening community assembly.
