MAYOR'S STATE OF THE CITY
The Canby Mayor's State of the City and Small Business Showcase is coming up this week, on Thursday, Feb. 6 from 5:30-8 p.m. at Cutsforth's Market Old Towne Hall. Join local businesses and the community in understanding where we've been and where we're going in the coming year as seen through the eyes of our mayor, Brian Hodson. Cutsforth's Market will provide a beer and wine cash bar for those in attendance. Several local businesses will present their food, products and services.
RELAY FOR LIFE KICKOFF
There will be a Relay for Life Kickoff Open House on Saturday, Feb. 8 from 4-7 p.m. at Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm, located at 33814 S. Meridian Rd. in Woodburn. At the event, there will be light refreshments, relay information, Firehouse Foto pictures and fun. Bring a friend and see what is in store for this year.
The Molalla Aquatic Center will be closed for the Molalla High School district meet on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 14-15. The public is invited to come out and support the high school swim team. Entry costs are $6 for adults and $4 for students.

CANBY FRIENDS MEETING
Friends of the Canby Public Library will hold its annual meeting on Thursday, Feb. 20, in the Willamette Room at 5:30 p.m. The meeting is open to anyone interested in FOL and what it does.
District 63 firefighters will hold its 46th annual bingo night at the Donald Fire Station on Saturday, March 7. Dinner is from 4:30-6:30 p.m., with bingo starting at 6:30 p.m. There will be raffle prizes, door prizes and cash for bingo game winners. Pie and ice cream will be served for $4. Bingo games cost 50 cents per game and an additional 50 cents for each extra card.

At the end of February, the aquatic center will hold water safety instructor and lifeguard certifications. Those interested should contact the aquatic center at 503-759-POOL to register.
The Cypress Branch Auxiliary of Boys & Girls Aid will hold its 18th annual Crab & Rib Dinner on Saturday, March 14, at Charbonneau Golf Club in Wilsonville. CANBY EMPLOYMENT EXPO
The Canby Employment Expo, sponsored by Columbia Distributing, is a community hiring event bringing together job seekers and local employers for the betterment of the community. This event will take place on April 23 from noon to 5 p.m. at the Clackamas County Fairgrounds and Event Center.
