Colton School District music teacher Bobby Rice gets big response to his quarantine song.

Colton School District music teacher Bobby Rice said he was sitting at home during the COVID-19 quarantine and well, "being stupid on a Saturday."

Rice went on to make a video of a song he wrote for the times, "Co Co Co Co Corona Na Na Na." In the video he sings and plays four instruments: guitar, ukulele, bass banjo and drums.

Rice posted the video to Facebook thinking only his "friends" would see it, roll their eyes and laugh.

"I don't play drums, (there are) some bad chords on the uke, and I should not be allowed to sing," he said. "If I had known it would go beyond friends and family, I would have done a better job."

However, as a K-12 teacher, he had to get busy and prepare for the next week's online school classes. The video, which he says was just quarantine fun, has become a local hit with over 1,200 views.

Check it out on Facebook or on the KXL website, posted May 8.
