Lavender farm opens to public
Coyote Crossing Lavender Farm will host its second annual Farm Days from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, June 27-28, at 21870 S. Unger Road.
Owned by the Kobielsky family, the farm gives visitors a chance to explore the beautiful setting. New plants, fresh cuttings, soaps and other items will be available for purchase.
The announcement for the event reads in part: "We at Coyote Crossing Lavender know that lavender heals mind, body and spirit, so come enjoy the fresh air, sweet flowers and spacious surroundings. Let the world fade away for a while and let lavender, fresh air, sunshine and community restore us."
In accordance with the COVID-19 safety concerns, the notice also states that the event will be observing the new "norms" of the current circumstances including the following:Respecting social-distancing standards Sanitizing all surfaces and goods Providing masks, hand sanitizer for those who forget theirs.
