Solid performances and the closure of an odd cross country season for Country Christian High School occurred Tuesday, March 30, at Southwest Christian High School.

A special district meet was set up and provided a fitting end to the season.

On the boys side, Country Christian scored 49 team points, good enough for second place.

Leading the way was Elijah Wallbaum, who finished 7th overall in a time of 19 minutes, 57.88 seconds. He was followed across the finish line by Timothy Ewing (16th, 21:12.50), Josh Davis (17th, 21:35), Casey Ives (24th, 22:29.0) and Lonnie Hester (29th, 23:12.0) in scoring position. Trent Phillips finished 36th in 24:19.0.

On the girls side, Ella Duckworth finished 22nd in 26:45.62.
