Two new faces join Molalla bus service
Final election results are in, showing that two new faces will join the South Clackamas Transportation District board.
The newcomers include Tom Holechek, who will serve a full four-year term along with those reelected, and John Duty, who will serve out the remaining two-year term of a vacant position.
Chair David Weber achieved reelection, along with Shirley Wood and Cristina Reynaga.
"This is the most interest we've had in the SCTD Board, that I am aware of -– definitely since I've been here," said SCTD District Manager Tom Strader. "It's great to see the community involvement."
The SCTD is a bus service that provides public transportation in Molalla to Clackamas Community College in Oregon City and to Canby. The cost to ride is $1.
