Meet the new pastor at May 14 event in Colton
Canyon Creek Bible Fellowship will hold a meet-and-greet event with Pastor Adan and Rebekah Magana on Saturday, May 14, from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Colton church.
There will be food and beverages and the event will take place rain or shine.
Thelma's holding hanging basket fundraiser
Thelma's Place in Canby has begun its hanging basket fundraiser. The event offers 12-inch hanging baskets are available for purchase, with funds raised going to support the Alzheimer's resource center for individuals and their families living with dementia.
The baskets are $35 each and will be available through June.

Canby Prayer Breakfast set for May 5
The Canby Prayer Breakfast will be held Thursday, May 5, from 7 to 8:15 a.m. at the Cutsforth's Town Hall as part of the National Day of Prayer.
The event will feature an opportunity to pray with Canby leaders and enjoy breakfast. Tickets are $10 and available at https://bit.ly/CanbyPrayer2022.
Aurora Colony Historical Society sets special event
The Aurora Colony Historical Society's annual meeting will feature the return of the annual Emma Day event that will include author Jane Kirkpatrick's presentation and book signing.
The event is Saturday, May 7, beginning at 11 a.m. It will include Kirkpatrick's presentation and book signing, unique fashions, tours, music and more.
Cost is $40 for members, $50 for non-members, $20 for youth ages 16 and under, and $20 for a Zoom-only experience.
