Molalla's Summer Jam set for June 4

Molalla River Summer Jam will be June 4 at 180 Industrial Way in Molalla.

The event is a tribute to Molalla's large music and small business community and will feature four musical guests. Doors open at 10 a.m., and guests are asked to bring their own folding seats or blankets for seating on the lawn.

Beer and wine will be available and food carts will be on site.

Gem and rock show this weekend in Canby

The Clackamette Mineral & Gem Club will hold its Gem & Rock Show May 28-29 at the Clackamas County Event Center in Canby.

The show runs 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. The show features free admission and free parking, as well as demonstrations and free door prizes.

There are vendors, a kids korner, displays, a free fluorescent show and more.

Canby Farmers Market continues Saturday run

Canby Farmers Market is from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays on Northwest Second and Holly streets in downtown Canby.

The weekly event offers food vendors, craftspeople, music and more.

Artwork on display at library through June

The Canby Public Library will display the works of artist Dolores Hoffman through June 30. Hoffman's display features 16 watercolor paintings and two wood creations. She also experiments with three-dimensional work.

Bingo fundraiser set for June 25 in Donald

The District 63 firefighters will hold its annual bingo event Saturday, June 25, at the Donald Fire Station. Proceeds will go to the Wayne Yoder Memorial Scholarship Fund and community events.

Dinner will be from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. and bingo starts at 6:30 p.m. There will be a raffle, door prizes and cash for bingo winners. Pie and ice cream will be served throughout the night for $4.

Cost is 50 cents per card per game with an additional 50 cents for each extra card.

Oregon Renaissance Faire around corner

The Oregon Renaissance Faire returns to the Clackamas County Event Center in Canby for two weekends — June 4-5 and 11-12.

Experience the Vale of Dunrose with an imaginative and interactive adventure modeled after elements of the Renaissance era. There will crafts, entertainment, artisans and more.

Hot Rod Dreamworks sets annual car show

Hot Rod Dreamworks will hold its annual car show from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, June 25, at its shop at 24303 S. Highway 99E.

There is no preregistration needed; sign up when you arrive. The event is free to the public. There will be food available for purchase as well as raffle prizes.

Proceeds go to the Cancer Society's Relay for Life.
