Allegro ready for spring recital at fine arts center

Canby's Allegro Dance Studio's spring recital, "For Every Season," will be held at the Richard R. Brown Fine Arts Center on June 16, 17 and 18. Shows will be at 7 p.m. each day, with a 1 p.m. matinee on June 18.

Wille Family center sets dedication on June 18

The Old Aurora Colony Museum will have its Will Family Preservation & Research Center dedication on Saturday, June 18, from 1 to 6 p.m.

The event will include a strawberry social, VIP tours of the center, dedication ceremony at 2:30 p.m. at the Aurora Presbyterian Church, a ribbon-cutting and more.

Canby Chamber sets Par 3 golf tourney

The Canby Area Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual Swinging Good Time golf tournament on June 17 at Frontier Golf Course just outside Canby. The Par 3 course has a variety of holes ranging from 90 to 175 yards.

Tickets sold as a team and are $240 for a team of four. Entry fee includes barbecue lunch, contests, team photo and more.

Check in is at noon and the four-person scramble format begins at 1 p.m.

All-Breed Dog Show set for three-day run

The Clackamas Kennel Club's All-Breed Dog Show will return to the Clackamas County Event Center Friday through Sunday, June 24-26.

The event features hundreds of dogs competing in a variety of different formats and breeds over the course of the three-day event.

Bingo fundraiser slated for June 25 in Donald

The District 63 firefighters will hold its annual bingo event on Saturday, June 25, at the Donald Fire Station. Proceeds will go to the Wayne Yoder Memorial Scholarship Fund and community events.

Dinner will be from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. and bingo starts at 6:30 p.m. There will be a raffle, door prizes and cash for bingo winners. Pie and ice cream will be served throughout the night for $4.

Cost is 50 cents per card per game with an additional 50 cents for each extra card.
