Colton 28, Central Linn 21: The Vikings held off a second-half comeback from the Cobras to grab their third win of the season in the non-league matchup on Sept. 22.

Colton's football team was able to keep their composure in their non-league matchup against Central Linn at home Friday night as they held off a second-half comeback from the Cobras and secured their third win of the season.

Play of the Game:

COLTON 28, CENTRAL LINN 21: With the game tied at 21 as eight minutes remained in the contest, Central Linn's punt returner made a questionable decision to pick up the ball and run it up to the seven yard line after it rolled into the endzone rather than take the touchback. Two plays later, the Cobras paid for that decision as senior quarterback Chase Barnes' pitch to senior wide receiver Ben Black sailed over his head, allowing Colton junior linebacker James Parker to pick up the ball and run it in for the go-ahead touchdown that would stay and give the Vikings the win.
