The full results can be found here.

One of Molalla's own was nominated in two different areas, and picked up the gold in one of them. Junior defensive lineman Bo Edwards was voted the "Best Defensive Football Player" of the 2018 fall season. To get that, Edwards beat out Mitchell Cross of Tigard, Justice Pagan of Clackamas, Tristin Keffer of Hillsboro, and Noah Culbertson of Sherwood.

Edwards was also nominated in the "Courage Award for the player who overcomes challenges" category, where he received an honorable mention. Edwards suffered a chipped vertebrae in his neck and back after taking a late hit in the 2017 season, forcing him to be transported to a nearby hospital. Edwards came back to play football, and will most likely wrestle in the 2018-2019 winter season as well.
