Country Christian senior Sarah Phillips was named Valley 10 League's MVP, and earned the first team all-league honor as well. Freshman Lizzy Grandle, senior Kendall Halverson, and senior Katie Sandberg were all named second team all-league players.

Grandle and Sandberg were also named to the League's all-defensive team as well.

The Country Christian team suffered a loss of a strong senior class after last year's season, and was in rebuild mode over the course of the regular season. While not a flawless run towards the postseason, the rebuild appears to have been largely successful. The Cougars enter the state playoffs to defend their state title as league champions and ranked the no. 6 team in the state.
