Molalla's Linda Settje retires...again
Longtime Molalla High School teacher, coach, and volunteer Linda Settje has decided to retire…again. After teaching physical education and health classes at the high school from 1977 to 2002, Settje retired from active teaching but continued to serve as an assistant and coach for the school's volleyball, softball, and girls' basketball teams for five seasons.
For the last 20 years, Settje also volunteered at and operated the photo timing system for track & field and cross country home and district meets. Settje will spend her time traveling with her husband, Dale.
In the wake of her second retirement, Molalla High will be seeking volunteers for score clock and announcing for the first time in more than two decades. Those interested please contact Athletic Director, Todd Moore.
"Thank you, Linda Settje for your dedication and many, many years of volunteer service for the athletic department at Molalla High School," Moore said. "You will be missed."
