Colton basketball camps on the horizon
Summer basketball camps are just around the corner, and if you're a Colton Viking there a few options open to you.
The Colton Hoop Camp will be taking place over four days, from June 24-27, for three hours a day and will cover shooting technique, dribbling, ball handling, passing, and more. The older the player, the greater the level of skills taught.
The camp will be broken up into two sessions based on age. The younger participants (first-graders through fourth-graders) will be attending from 9 a.m. until noon, and fifth-graders through freshmen will be in the camp from 1-4 p.m. The morning session will house 40 participants only at the Colton Elementary gym, and the afternoon session will take place at Colton Middle School.
The other summer basketball camp, the Mt. Hood Team Camp, coming up focuses on high school basketball players, and will take place in June as well. The girls' varsity teams that can attend will go from Sunday, June 16 until Wednesday June 19. The boys' camp goes from Wednesday, June 19 through Saturday, June 22.
