After a busy two week stretch, the boys' golf team gets geared up for district match

The team competed and took first place in both the Corbett Invitational at the Gresham Golf Course and the Gladstone Invitational at Meriweather Golf Course. The team posted a season low score of 357 at the Corbett Invite, with Ben Daniels shooting an 83.

The team also competed at the Seaside Invitational at Gearhart Golf Course and took fifth place with a team score of 371. The fourth event was at Meadow Lakes Golf Course, hosted by Crook County, where Molalla competed against all 5A teams. Molalla took fourth place out of seven teams with a score of 364, Daniels again led the team with an 86.

The Molalla boys' golf team also won first place in the OnPoint Community Credit Union Academic All-State Award for boys' golf. Each member of the team will receive a commemorative decal, t-shirt, and certificate. The team earned that award with a joint GPA of 3.88, the top GPA in all of 4A.
