After dropping three straight, including a pair of blowouts to Gladstone (11-2 in Tri-Valley Conference, 17-4 overall), the team has rattled off four straight victories in a busy week.

On Monday, April 29 at North Marion High School, Molalla beat North Marion 11-2. After dropping the first two encounters, the win was all the sweeter. That was just the first big win of the week.

Molalla then hosted Estacada for a doubleheader on Wednesday, May 1, and bested the Rangers 19-1 in the first matchup. The second time around was little better for Estacada, as Molalla once again defeated the opposing team 11-1.

In the second encounter Molalla and Estacada were scoreless through two innings, but the home team was able to pull ahead in the third inning. Molalla put up five runs, including a double RBI from senior Katelyn Streett. Six runs later and Molalla 10-runned the Rangers before the start of the seventh inning.

Streett led the team with those two RBIs, and junior Rachel DeRosa led the team with two hits. The Molalla bats recorded six hits, six RBIs, and took six bases on balls. From the mound, pitcher Analiz Wickham allowed just two hits and one run and walked just one Ranger.

On Friday, May 3 Molalla wrapped up a productive week with a 17-7 win over Corbett on the road. With that win, Molalla improved to 8-5 in TVC play, and 14-8 overall.

The team will face off against Madras (10-3 in TVC, 15-5 overall) in a rubber match. Molalla won the first matchup on Friday, April 19 by 9-2. Madras bounced back in the second game, winning 12-1 on Monday, April 22.
