Molalla Hall of Fame revamp on summer break
The quest to rejuvenate the Molalla High School Hall of Fame will be on hiatus during the summer months, but that does not mean that there are not things on the horizon.
Molalla athletic director Todd Moore is hoping to have a Hall of Fame induction ceremony in the fall of this year, along with continued progress in the upcoming school year of revamping the institution. The meeting will continue in late September, at a time to be determined.
In the same email where Moore gave updates on the Hall of Fame, the date and opponent for the football team's homecoming game were announced. On Friday, Oct. 4 Molalla will square off with Tillamook High School. Last year, Molalla was unable to overcome the Cheesemakers (4-5) in their first league encounter. Tillamook wound up winning 29-13 on Friday, Sept. 28.
