Molalla's varsity boys basketball team attended the Gonzaga University Team Camp in Spokane June 30-July 3.

At the camp were 128 boys basketball teams from all over the Western United States, Alaska and numerous programs from Canada. Along with tournament play, players attended clinics and situational games to develop their skills.

"Our boys played hard against top competition including teams from Seattle, Anchorage, Idaho, Montana, North Dakota and Canada," Molalla coach Scott Campbell said. "We look forward to making this an annual summer event."

The camp came after Molalla played 23 games in a June summer league.

The Indians are spending the rest of July and the first two weeks of August training five days a week in the gym and the weight room.
