Linden MacKenzie won the 50 and 100-yard freestyle events at Molalla Aquatic Center

Racking up points through its relays, Molalla's boys swim team (229) outscored Kennedy (106) and Stayton (82) last Wednesday.

Competing at the Molalla Aquatic Center, the Indians won the 400-yard freestyle relay and placed second in the 200 free relay.

Max Kavanagh, Zachary Ferrell, Jordan Cowan and Linden MacKenzie finished the 400 free relay in 4 minutes, 11.46 seconds.

MacKenzie, Ferrell, Cowan and Adam Miller finished the 200 free relay in 1:46.97.

Individually, MacKenzie won the 50 free in 24.91 seconds and the 100 free in 56.26.

Farrell placed first in the 100 breaststroke in 1:12.84 and second in the 200 free in 2:17.73.

Cowan (59.60) and Miller (1:05.75) took second and third in the 100 free.

Molalla's girls (140) finished second to Stayton (199).

Payton Miller, Lucia Martin Garcia, Kira Knox and Cori Oster won the 200 free relay in 2:01.21.

Martin Garcia and Miller took first and second in the 100 butterfly, finishing in 1:11.37 and 1:12.80.

Oster placed second in the 100 back in 1:14.21 and Knox took third in the 50 free in 30.88.

Molalla hosts Gladstone Wednesday, Jan. 15 in another home meet.
