Molalla boys snag tie in second go-round with Madras
The Molalla High boys soccer team showed dramatic improvement in the second leg of back-to-back matches with Madras High.
Molalla got a pair of goals from sophomore Antuan Peterson and a pair of penalty kick saves from senior keeper Anthony Ehleringer to secure a 2-2 final score — a much better result than Monday's opening 6-1 defeat at Madras.
Up next for Molalla will be a March 16 home match with Estacada.
GIRLS SOCCER:The Molalla High girls soccer team bagged a 5-0 win Wednesday, March 3, in the second leg of a two-game series with Madras.
Molalla had tied Madras 2-2 in the season-opener on March 2, then snagged its first win of the season in Wednesday's rematch
Up next will be a Tuesday, March 9, match at Corbett, then a rematch with Corbett two days later in Molalla.
