Molalla boys have good run in three-way
The Molalla High cross country team enjoyed some success Wednesday during their three-way meet against Gladstone and Madras high schools.
Gladstone and Madras could not field full teams on the boys side, so the Indians captured that portion of the meet, being led by Noah Roth, who captured the individual title. He traversed the 5,000 meter course in a time of 19 minutes, 49 second.
He was followed across the finish line by Kadyn Eves (4th, 21:10.8), Riley Reynolds (5th, 21:16.7), Clay Sperl (6th, 21:28.9), and Colten Strohmeyer (7th, 21:58.8) in scoring for the Indians.
There was only one race on both the boys and girls side, so also running for Molalla were: Osten Terry (8th, 23:49.5), Clayton Huitt (9th, 23:55.3), and Zackery Huebner (32:24.8).
On the girls side, Molalla didn't have a finisher.
Molalla has a dual meet with North Marion slated for Monday, March 22, then will race in the Putnam COVID Classic on Saturday, March 27. The Tri-Valley Conference Championships are slated for Monday, April 5.
