Grandle picks up four wins for the girls side, while the boys have a pair of double winners on the day

The Molalla High track team took both ends of a three-way meet at home Wednesday afternoon. And in the process put up some pretty solid marks.

Leading the way was Elizabeth Grandle, who delivered the quad – winning all four events she entered. Grandle on the 100 hurdles (16.92 seconds), the 300 low hurdles (54.34), the high jump (5-feet, 2-inches) and the long jump (16-feet).

The girls scored 81 total points to outdistance Estacada 41, and Damascus Christian.

Molalla's girl's team also got a win from Audra McGrath in the shot put (26-10 ¾), Kadenlee Greer in the triple jump (31-11 ½) and Paige Gump in the 800 (3:03.90). Other highlights were Emma Cortez getting a pair of seconds (100, 13.88 and long jump, 13-4); Paulina Beteran Munoz second int eh 200 (28.55), Greer a second in the 400 (1:06.46), and Ella Duckworth second in the 3,000 (13:57.34).

On the boy's side, Molalla held on to win the team score, checking in with 59 points to slide past Estacada (57) and Damascus Christian (32).

The boys got double wins from Brayden Cunningham in the 100 (11.74) and 110 high hurdles (18.27), and Blake Olsen, who snagged the long jump (18-0) and triple jump (40-4 ½). Also picking up wins were Riley Reynolds in the 800 (2:12.32), Clay Sperl in the 1,500 (4:47.73), and Lonnie Hester Lloyd in the 3,000 (11:51.39).

Other highlights were Niko Boehm getting second in the 100 (12.22), 200 (25.03) and long jump (17-0). Antuan Peterson was second in the 800 (2:12.36), Noah Roth second in the 1,500 (4:52.53), Chase Martin second in the shot put (37-7 ½), Benjamin Suarez second in the discus (117-7) and Olsen getting a second in the javelin (126-7).

Up next will be a dual meet with Gladstone on Wednesday.
