On a rainy Friday night, the Molalla Indians just couldn't get the offense going in a 12-7 loss at Astoria.

The loss dropped the Indians to 0-3 in the early part of its non-league schedule.

While the Fishermen were able to find 12 points in the wetness, Molalla's lone score came courtesy of a Chase Martin strip sack, fumble recovery and return for a touchdown.

But other than that magical defensive moment, the Molalla offense simply couldn't find a rhythm during the evening.

Molalla returns home Thursday night for its final non-league tilt, hosting Seaside for a 7 p.m. start.
