The Molalla girls soccer team dropped its only league action of the week; eye matches with Madras and Corbett

In its only action of a short week, the Molalla girls soccer team dropped a 3-0 league game to North Marion Oct. 5.

"The girls played well, they made good passes and took some great shots, but unfortunately we did not end up with the win."

The loss dropped Molalla to 1-3-1 in Tri-Valley Conference play (3-5-1 overall). Molalla gets back into action Oct. 12 when Madras pays a visit, then hosts Corbett on Oct. 14.

In the first round of league play, the Indians defeated Madras 6-1, but lost a heartbreaker to Corbett by a 3-2 score. The Madras match will be at 4 p.m., the Corbett tilt at 6 p.m.
