With the wrap-up of the Oregon State High School Clay Target fall league, local shooters did well

The Oregon State High School Clay Target League recently wrapped up its fall season and several shooters with local ties showed plenty of skill.

For Canby, Brandon Slater had the high season average for Conference 4 at 24.1 and was followed in third place by fellow Canby shooter Ayden Griesenauer, who averaged 23.4.

Additionally, Canby claimed the Conference 4 high point championship, outdistancing its opponents in all five weeks of shooting.

For the 2021 Fall Trap League, 23 high school teams were assigned to four conferences based on team size.

Molalla proved to be plenty tough on the girl's side of things with Maison Sorenson topping Conference 4 with a 23.6 average. Right behind her in second place was Hannah Jones, who recorded a 23.0 average over five weeks of shooting.

Additionally, Sorenson was also the season average female champion amongst the four conferences.
