The Indians competed at the 34-team North Bend Coast Classic Dec. 11 and came away with some hardware

Molalla High's wrestling team jumped into a big one Dec. 11, competing in the 34-team North Bend Coast Classic.

Of the 10 wrestlers who participated, five of them came away with medals, including the entire girls squad.

Earning medals were Jade Naylor who was fourth at 115 pounds, Faith Steach fourth at 130, Haley Hewlett was sixth at 140, and Sarah Patrick fourth at 145. For the boys, Max Salvetti took sixth at 113 pounds.

Molalla gets back on the mat Dec. 18 when they host the Molalla Mayhem tournament.
