While Max Salvetti claims home tournament title, a trio of ladies also wrestle way into top three spots.

Another successful outing greeted the Molalla High wrestling team, this time on home soil.

The Indians hosted the Molalla Holiday Mayhem Tournament on Dec. 18 and placed four of its nine competing wrestlers in the top three of the tournament.

Max Salvetti was the only individual champion at 113 pounds, winning three bouts en route to not only the title, but earning a championship jacket. Salvetti opened with a bye, then won by fall (1:04) in the semifinals and then by fall again (3:58) in the championship match.
