Competing Saturday at the Lower Columbia Invitational, the Indians win three individual events

The Molalla High track team gathered in a trio of first place finishes during the Lower Columbia Invitational Saturday, April 9, in St. Helens.

The meet featured a slew of track and field teams, offering solid competition across all events. The Indians put together plenty of top-level performances, including wins from Elizabeth Grandle (100 hurdles and high jump) and Brayden Cunningham (110 high hurdles).

Cunningham would win the hurdles in 16.63 seconds, then snag seconds in the 100 meters (11.39) and long jump (19-3). Grandle won the hurdles (16.13) and the high jump (4-10) in addition to a second place in the long jump (16-6.5) and third in the javelin (102-0).
