Molalla's lone state representative finishes tied for sixth place with Siuslaw's Ryan Klampe

Molalla freshman Massimo Cereghino finished sixth place with a total score of 154, even with Siulsaw freshman Ryan Klampe. Cereghino earned that 10 over par finish at Quail Valley Golf Course in Banks on May 16-17.

The Molalla representative got the first day off to a strong start, running up five pars and a birdie in his first seven holes. However, Cereghino finished his first front nine with a bogey and double bogey to drop to three over. The back nine was a tougher out for the freshman, recording five bogeys and a birdie to finish the first day at seven over.

Day two was much stronger. Cereghino again finished the front nine with a three-over performance, birdying the second hole and making par on six of the other eight holes. The back nine was his best showing, posting a pair of birdies to go along with three bogeys and four pars.
