The Molalla High equestrian team saw a pair of its teams get top five finishes at a recent regional event.

A pair of Molalla High equestrian teams did well at the Pacific Northwest Invitational, a regional finals for the top five teams and individuals from Oregon and Washington's state meets.

This year's event was held at the Grant County Fairgrounds in Moses Lake, Washington, June 17-19.

Molalla's Canadian Flag team of Emma King, Brooke King, Ellie Humphrey and Ashley Laplante snagged fourth place, while the drill team of Kianna Fox, Taylor Berreth, Emma King, Kamryn Linder, Brooke King, Brooklyn Nagle and Ashley Laplante finished fifth.

Molalla High's equestrian team is coached by Tiffany Laplante, Lisa Banyard and Shawntel Banyard.
