A male climber, Alexander J. Reed, 20, of Bend, died from a fall in the area of Misery Ridge, at Smith Rock State Park on April 10.

At approximately 7:50 a.m., the Deschutes County 911 received the call that the man had fallen within Smith Rock State Park. Deschutes County deputies, along with Deschutes County Emergency Medical Services, responded and determined that the male subject was deceased.
