Two Jefferson County men were arrested in Prineville May 9, for a stabbing that occurred May 5, in Bend.

Edgar Ramirez, 25, of Madras, and Isaias Gutierrez Parra, 22, of Culver, were arrested late in the evening of May 9, in Prineville. The two were charged with third-degree assault and lodged in the Deschutes County Jail in the early morning of May 10.

Lt. Clint Burleigh, of the Bend Police Department, reported that officers responded to the nightclub around 1:17 a.m. on May 5, and arrived to find Zuniga in front of the business, suffering from several stab wounds.

Zuniga was transported to St. Charles Bend for treatment of nonlife-threatening injuries.

The attackers were described as four Hispanic males, all with "fade" haircuts. Police released photos from surveillance video on May 9, and received tips that led to the arrests of Parra and Ramirez.

The Prineville Police Department assisted in the arrest of the two men. The Bend Police Department is still looking for others who may have been involved in the incident, or may have witnessed the incident.
