Chip sealing causes delays
Chip sealing operations on the Culver Highway (Highway 361) started June 4 and will continue through June 6, with traffic delays along the entire highway.
The south end of the highway was closed for a micro-surfacing project on Monday from Jericho Road to the Highway 97 junction. All other traffic control will be done with flaggers and pilot car.
Chip sealing operations on the Madras/Prineville highway (Highway 26 East) will start on June 7, and continue on June 11-14. The impact will be delaying traffic from milepost 10 to 25, and traffic will be controlled with flaggers and pilot car.
