Hundreds came out Aug. 2, for the city's third First Thursday event, with music, art, food and fun.

A large crowd attended the third Park and Play event in downtown Madras, Aug. 2, to enjoy live music, food, vendors and art.

The band was sponsored by Madras Sanitary.The Precious Byrd Band, of Bend, sponsored by Madras Sanitary Service, entertained at Wild Bleu, while Ben Naught and Dangerous Danny, of Molalla, provided music at the Willow Creek Tap Room.

Art Adventure Gallery had a great turnout for the opening of Madras artist Jana Charl's exhibit "Makeovers," and numerous families were seen participating in the downtown scavenger hunt.

The last Park and Play street fair is slated for Thursday, Sept. 6, from 5-9 p.m.
