Jefferson County Public Health seeks input on health, health care
Jefferson County Public Health and the Central Oregon Health Council are hosting a meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 26, to talk about the overall health status of the community and its residents.
The meeting will be held at the Jefferson County Health Department's Public Health Conference Room, from 1:30-2:30 p.m. The health department is located at 715 SW Fourth St., in Madras.
"We are looking for about 15 people to come and talk with us about their health and their experiences in navigating the health care system and in the ways they receive care," said Michael Baker, health services director for the county.
"This is also an opportunity to share any concerns that local residents may have about the issues that impact their health or issues that they feel are not being adequately addressed," he said. "This information will help us and our regional partners to work together to address them."
"This is a great opportunity for Jefferson County residents to have a say in what concerns them most about their health and health care," said Baker.
