A new look, a new location and a new vibe will mark the Rotary Club of Jefferson County's Cherry Tree Dinner and Auction this year. The 27th annual event will be held Saturday, May 4.
The derby-themed event, to be held at the North Bomber Hanger at Madras Municipal Airport, will kick off at 5:30 p.m. and feature music by Precious Byrd, dancing, and both a silent and live auction. A golf tournament will accompany the event.
This year's event will benefit the East Hills Trails project, a set of trails east of Madras that will accommodate mountain bikers, horseback riders, walkers and runners.
Tickets are $60 per person and tables of eight can be reserved. The event is for people 21 years of age and older and on-site camping is available.
For tickets and more information, contact Jennifer Holcomb at 541-325-1315, or Alexa Gassner at 541-279-0212.
